Content

Over four days, participants explored how digital transformation can strengthen and modernise youth work. The programme combined theory, hands-on practice, and guided discovery: from understanding the difference between digitalisation of youth work and digital youth work, to mapping internal systems, exploring online youth engagement, and analysing digital identities and wellbeing. Through discussions, games, peer presentations and structured reflection, participants gained clarity on how digital tools, platforms and methods can support both organisational development and direct work with young people.
The second half of the training focused on practical strategy-building. Organisations identified their digital challenges, assessed their readiness, engaged stakeholders, set strategic goals, and selected tools and approaches that fit their context. They developed concrete action plans and outlined their own local multipliers to bring their learning home. By the end, each participant gained new digital practices, a clearer understanding of digital youth work, and a roadmap for digital growth in their organisation.
