Teave
Young people participate in youth work activities to gain valuable experiences and develop their skills and capacities.
Youth workers can empower them through supporting their learning and skills development. In this activity, we invite you to explore opportunities for young people to develop skills and capacities by completing a Participation Learning Matrix.
Step 1. Ideas for youth involvement and learning
In your team, consider the key steps of a youth work project and identify methods and activities that you can facilitate to support young people's involvement, learning, and skills development.

Go to the badge and submit evidence about your reflection on competencies and individual resources.
The Awero organisation created this educational resource and activity for the Erasmus+ Accreditation training for youth workers.
- Providing support for young people to take risks, including bridging to others outside of their in-group.
- Knowing how to empower young people to organise and manage resources.
- Acknowledging and celebrating young people’s efforts.
- Encouraging and supporting young people in managing resources – if possible in an environmentally-friendly and equitable way.
