Day 1 overview
The first half of the day unfolded as a dynamic start to the training course, focused on building connection, establishing a shared learning environment, and diving into the foundations of digital youth work.
In the first session participants began with energisers and getting to know each other with the ball game. They received a brief overview of the venue, the Eco Center Radulovački and of the LearnInn project. They gradually moved into deeper reflection through expectations, fears, and group agreements. Next activity encouraged collaboration through puzzle-based group formation which continued into ‘SpaceTeam’ teambuilding activity, which highlighted communication, chaos management, and teamwork—key elements for effective digital collaboration.
The afternoon shifted into digital identity and awareness, starting with a pop-culture quiz to spark discussion about how young people navigate online spaces. Participants explored where youth gets information from, what content they consume, and what risks and opportunities exist in digital environments. Through group work and guided questions, they analysed trends in watching, listening, gaming, and platform usage of young people. The day closed with a structured reflection session, allowing participants to consolidate insights before enjoying free time.

I earned this badge by participating on the first day of the training course, which explored the team work in the group and digital awareness and identity. I understood the digital ecosystem and the basic knowledge on how young people are behaving online.
