Development of Resource Management Strategy

Participar

Sobre

Involving young people in raising and managing resources strengthens ownership, builds competences, and ensures sustainability of projects. This activity guides you through creating a comprehensive strategy for resource co-management, focusing on human, material, and financial resources.

Task:
Form a team or work individually if you prefer. Begin by choosing the scope of your strategy. You can focus on a specific project or on your organisation’s long-term activities. Some examples include: Youth Exchange, Youth Participation Activities, Training Course, Volunteering Team Project (ESC), Solidarity Project (ESC), KA2 Small-scale Cooperation Partnership, or ongoing local organisational activities.

Once you have your scope, follow these steps:
  1. Map and analyse needs. Clarify the context of your project or organisation and list all resources required to achieve your aims.
  2. Develop your strategy. Describe how resources will be raised, managed, and sustained in the short and long term.
  3. Engage young people. Integrate specific ways for youth to be directly involved in co-creating, managing, and learning from the resource management process.
  4. Prepare your presentation. Summarise your strategy in a visual format such as a map, poster, or slides, and present it in 5 minutes to your peers or team members.

Find the form to fill in. Make sure to make a copy of the file. After opening the Google doc, go to Files -> Make a copy.

Endorsement:
This activity is endorsed by NGO Awero and Erasmus+ programme partners.
This activity supports youth workers’ competence development in the “Managing Resources” area. Managing Resources means knowing how youth projects and organisations work, and what affects them, especially when working with other countries or online. It includes understanding different leadership styles, helping young people stay motivated, keeping them safe, and making a positive difference in the community. It also means knowing about laws, data rules, and how to plan and use money and other resources, especially for online activities that need more support.

This activity creation is co-funded by the EU Erasmus+ programme.
